Infrared Thermography for Existing and Historic Buildings
Thermal imaging offers a quick and non-invasive way to uncover potential issues in buildings, but to use it effectively, understanding the nuances is key. This presentation explores the challenges of interpreting thermal data, especially in buildings with limited documentation. Environmental factors, building materials, and moisture can all impact results, creating ambiguity if not properly considered. Through real-world case studies, we’ll highlight best practices for more accurate analysis and share tips for those new to the technology. Whether you’re just starting or refining your skills, this session will help you get the most out of your thermal camera.
