The JI Case Building (better known as the Old Spaghetti Factory building) was built in 1907 for the JI Case Threshing Machine Company, One of the country's major farming equipment at the time for the distribution and marketing of their equipment. The building was built using heavy timber construction and has three levels above grade with a fully occupiable lower level. Sherman Associates has owned the building since 1999 and occupies the second and third floors as their corporate offices. Sherman Associates recently completed a $30M full building renovation that started in 2021 designed by Bluementals Architecture, Hess Roise as the historic consultant and Gardner Builders as the general contractor.
The tour will include a history of the building and the project and will include stops on all levels including the newly renovated office spaces on second and third floors, a stop at the new 4th floor penthouse and lounge.
