A cornerstone of the city’s heritage, the Pabst Mansion embodies Milwaukee’s long-standing connection to brewing. Constructed between 1890 and 1892 for Captain Frederick Pabst, the Pabst Mansion is an outstanding example of Gilded Age Flemish Renaissance Revival architecture. The mansion has served as a Milwaukee landmark for over a century and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The tour will highlight the ongoing exterior restoration efforts, including masonry and ornate terra cotta repairs, mosaic flooring, roof and gutter replacement, and window repairs. Attendees will gain insight into the techniques and materials used to preserve this iconic historic landmark.
