The Association of Preservation Technology, Western Great Lakes Chapter (APT WGLC) along with the International Masonry Institute invites you to attend the 2023 Symposium – Masonry: History, Materials, and Repair.  The symposium will consist of professional presentations in the morning and multiple hands-on stations featuring masonry restoration skills taught by IMI staff in the afternoon. Stations will include repointing, terra cotta glaze repair, stone patching, masonry cleaning methods, and terra cotta installation mock-ups.

The event will be held at the IMI Training Center, 2140 West Corporate Drive, Addison, IL 60101. (see map below)

Check-in begins at 8:15 am, presentations begin at 8:30 am.

This program will provide 6 CEUs HSW. Lunch will be provided during the program. Parking is available on site.
