Please join APT WGLC on a members-only tour of the Old Main Post Office in Chicago!
The Post Office designed by the firm Graham, Anderson, Probst, and White, was originally constructed in 1921; however, in 1932 it was significantly expanded to its current size. The building has been vacant for 20 years and is currently undergoing a restoration to be developed into an office building with retail space on the first two floors.
APT WGLC will meet at 4:00 pm at the security office in the center entrance off of Harrison Street and take a brief tour of the interior work in progress. This is an active construction site. Please wear appropriate footwear. Please bring a hardhat if you have one, if not hardhats will be available for loan on site.
